CANbus Training Rigs

There are a number of ways to approach CAN bus training and to suit these we have developed a number of training solutions.

Using a physical layer approach, students get to build a network using sensors, A/D converters and CAN nodes. Signals can be observed on a "quiet" bus where error checking and arbitration can be explored.

With the systemic approach, students investigate and fault find a real vehicle system. They can test and measure to find out whether systemic faults are component or network based. This complements all of the theory by allowing cause and effect to be diagnosed.
